It's not a bug, though.

If you want to be sure your file-name survives a move from
one computer to another or from you to me, never use
anything in the file name other than
abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz1234567890_

And IMO it's safest to put the unique info in the first 7
spaces.

NOT that I follow that these days, but I'm sure I'll regret
not doing it sooner or later.
