Jenny, The reason I'm asking is, some recent posts got me thinking about making global changes in Legacy. There was a question about deleting apostrophe globally. I asked about MS Access because it is an excellent database program. I've used Access before, but actually MS Excel would be good too, but after all, it is a spreadsheet program.
BTW, Regarding your comment: unless you really want to concern yourself with getting to grips with Access I wouldn't bother inquiring any further! If you don't like my comment, Don't read it :-) -- There are lots of thing which can be done more quickly or easily ny manipulating the basic database in Access rather than via the limited options in Legacy.
