Gavin, I haven’t checked, but I am not surprised. The bigger the program, the more bells and whistles, the more bloat, then the more CPU usage and the slower the speed.
50 – 60% is not that high, on my old XP machine I found that 80 – 90% was not uncommon. I use a netbook and with V7.5 clicking from one person to another in family view is snappy with response at less than 1 sec and CPU usage spiking to 20-30%.
