Yes, I’ve noticed the 1-2 seconds when, for example, switching from family view to pedigree view. The ‘extra features’ are likely the cause. One thing I’ve noted is that it will display all of the “people data” and then the potential problems indicators will start displaying. I suspect that is taking some processing horsepower.
Can this ‘dynamic’ potential problems checking be turned off, and just let me check for potential problems by running the report periodically? I’ve checked options and can’t find it. I use a netbook and with V7.5 clicking from one person to another in family view is snappy with response at less than 1 sec and CPU usage spiking to 20-30%. In V8 with the same database (upgraded not changed) changes take 1-2 secs and CPU usage is 50-60%. Any ideas or similar experiences? Gavin... _____ No virus found in this message.
