Stanley, I received the same error, ignored it, and Legacy 8 ran fine. Just
tell it the all is fine and start it up again.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Errors with Update to 8.0.0.427

Hi all,
My first post here.

I've been using Legacy Deluxe 8.0.0.412, on Windows 7-x64.

When I launched the program today it prompted me to update to '427' and I
responded yes to the prompt. It appeared to download the update, but apparently
it was unsuccessful because another message suggested downloading the update
from the website.

Well, I did that and then closed Legacy. I then launched Legacy8Setup.exe to
apply the update.

When it finished, I got this message from the Windows 7 "Program Compatibility
Assistant" - "This program might not have installed correctly. If this program
didn't install correctly, try reinstalling using settings that are compatible
with this version of Windows."
There are two options presented: "Reinstall using recommended settings"
or "This program installed correctly".

What to do? I'm tempted to select "Reinstall using recommended settings."

Has anyone else seen this?
Any recommendations?

Thanks,
-Stan
