Please provide more detail on how you are able to use the tag to limit a Search and Replace operation. I don't see anything on the Search and Replace screen that allows for a compound search. There's only the Field to Search, the Text to Search for, and the Replacement Text, and some basic options.

At the bottom of the original search list there is an "options, advanced tagging" where you can give everyone in the search list a tag (one that you have not used before or clear an existing one).
