Computer hassles are awful - always have backups and they're not so bad.

How you get the media where you want it depends on how you've saved your media.
If a Legacy Media zip file then it needs to be unzipped.
Media backups are unzipped using what is built in to Windows or some other zip 
program - not Legacy.
Depending on the way you unzip, it will recreate the folders as they were and 
then you can move the files wherever you want OR you can choose during the 
unzip.
