I'm sure many, if not most of us, will have imported a GEDCOM and regretted not "making it clean" before entering it into our master Legacy file. I decided to compile a set of notes/instructions to ensure that all my future downloads were "cleansed" in a full fashion. Here is a copy of my notes/instructions sheet, and hope it is of some help.
I would welcome any feedback, criticism and suggestions to improve it. Les Williamson Bonnie Scotland Importing Instructions Tasks to carry out before importing files into Master Legacy file Create a new file with meaningful name e.g. "Donor file" and import GEDCOM into it. * Remove Media Files (6.
