Known providers for free email accounts whose emails do not require
this conversion include gmail.com and hotmail.com. Many other email
providers will also work but you will have to give them a try.

Before the subject was hijacked on 7 September, this thread talked about
swapping split screen windows (on a single monitor, I thought) which was of
interest to me. There were three emails on the topic at the start. Were there
any more after 7 September 2017?

Thanks. Someone else told me what to do and I can now move Legacy from one
monitor to the other by clicking on those 2 little squares.

This group is great; always someone to help you.

Roberta you should be able to move Legacy as well, unless you have legacy newer
than 8 in which case it might be different. I have Legacy 8. On the top right
hand corner there should 3 spots, the one in the middle will make legacy
smaller and will allow you to drag the program to the other monitor.

Just love what I can do with it. Only think that I can't move over the the old
monitor is Legacy so, if I am searching Ancestry and find something of
interest, I simply move Ancestry over to the old monitor, then record what I
found (after checking out what I find) in my Legacy Family Tree.

Thanks Cathy. Shame there is no shortcut, but I will try what you suggest.

There isn't a shortcut to swap but you can drag and resize those two windows
and so you can swap their sides.

Better is to know which file you want on which side. If the one you're in when
you go to Split Screen isn't the one you want on the left, when asked whether
to open another file, simply say No and then highlight the left window and use
File - Open file to open the one you want.

I use the split screen view a lot with 2 different files open when

Is there a shortcut to swap the contents of the 2 side by side windows
(L<-- ->R) please?
