Every Legacy News issue has a link near the end of the email where you
can manage your subscriptions. Jennifer you should be able use that to
remove extras and for those who do not want a subscription they can use
it to cancel theirs when the first legacy news email arrives.

I tried to update from the home page. It went through all the steps of
downloading, then told me it couldn't install the update and I had to do it
manually. No problem, except for this:

Now I know why I get two Legacy updates in my inbox since I had to download a
previous version from the web. I imagine I will get three after this.

You can update from the Legacy Home Tab in the Legacy Program - see box on the
right OR you can download from the webpage and then install. If you download
from the webpage you have to provide an email address ...
The update has never been in About Legacy.
There are a lot of fixes in this update.
If you have written your own Internet searches, take the precaution of saving
the iSearch folder in ...\Documents\Legacy Family Tree\_AppData\ folder as all
the strings have been updated and they appear to be replacing the whole folder.
Also, if you use the Legacy FamilySearch integration it won't work without this
update. FamilySearch have released a new API and there are changes in this
update for that.

1:46 PM I have deluxe and cannot find where to get the latest update.
The button says download update but will open a web page and ask all
kinds of stuff. Where is the " automatic self propelling internal
update my existing file" button. I thought it was in the About
Legacy
Normally I just wait for the 30 day thing to kick in and ask me, But
as you published the update in this fashion I assumed it critical.
I do not want to lose my setup, customizations etc....

Has Legacy been fixed so that the Legacy News gets updated? Mine
doesn't work.
I cannot update from within the program. I am on Windows 10.
I spent a couple of hours searching the internet. I finally gave up
and downloaded the program.
Does anyone have any hints or tips on what I need to do to be able to
update from within the program? Does it have anything to do with
Windows 10?
Thanks,
Dale
