Hi,

If I were you I would export the files to CSV files then create an Excel
workbook with a tab for each file. Then use the Excel search facilities but
that is because I am extremely comfortable using Excel and that is maybe not
everyone's cup of tea (and you may not have access to Excel either).

Subject: [LegacyUG] I AM IN A BIG MESS - again - no still

* I have a one name study for HIGGINSON's

* I have more than one file all with different names

* I have a lot of Family Group Records for a family printed some with
different printed dates and some with no file name

I want to create a list of all those in a particular data base, some have 3 and
4,000 names in a file so I can have it available to search when I am trying to
find which database " Samuel W PARKS [2800] is in.

At the moment I have to open each file, one at a time, until I find the
particular person.

I hope I have explained this well enough for some one to help me please

Cheers from Valerie Garton nee Vaughan in sunny Sydney
