Just a thought, not actually tried:1. Import each file into a common file.2. After each import, tag the imported records with a tag named for the original it came from.3. If you have more than 9 sources files use hashtags instead of tags.4. When done you can look in Index to find names and check Tag to ID original file.Happy Families -------- Original message --------From: [email protected] Date: 10/4/20 6:09 PM (GMT-05:00) To: 'Legacy User Group' <[email protected]> Subject: [LegacyUG] I AM IN A BIG MESS - again - no still * I have a one name study for HIGGINSON's* I have more than one file all with different names* I have a lot of Family Group Records for a family printed some with different printed dates and some with no file name I want to create a list of all those in a particular data base, some have 3 and 4,000 names in a file so I can have it available to search when I am trying to find which database " Samuel W PARKS [2800] is in. At the moment I have to open each file, one at a time, until I find the particular person.
