Herb, all those messages you got are typical with a hard shut-down of Windows.  
Nothing to be alarmed about.  Happens to me all the time at home and at work when I 
Windows isn't shut down by the appropriate method (start>shut down)

As far as the problem with double clicking locations using the blue arrow, I didn't 
have it.  I'm running Win98, 128MB RAM, ZA, NAV5.0. I also had seti@home and AIM 
running in the background.  I double clicked a location into the location field 
several times and tried all the different location fields and had no problem.  In 
fact, double clicking is the way I normally select any item from one of the master 
lists - so much easier than moving the pointer up to the "select" button!

Sometimes a file gets corrupted during its use and doing a "repair install" of Legacy 
can fix the corrupted file by replacing it with a good one.
