This was a great crash. One of the best I've ever had. Seemed to be
totally unrecoverable, although occasionally it seemed as if I might get out
of it, I had to resort to a hard boot (even the 3 fingered salute did not
work: CTL - ALT - DEL).
I imagine that not everyone gets it because some people have different
versions of a common control library, which have been installed by other
applications.
Sherry is right that those error messages are just the result of the
computer not shutting down, however it may be something to worry about one
day if one of the files to be corrupted is a system file (happened to me
once on NT).
