I've been using Caere OmniPage Pro for over two years. I think it does a good job both scanning from a scanner and documents sent to me from others, don't know how they got copies in their computer. It had a steep learning curve for me and there is a couple of things I've not learned how to do such as learning it to correct documents without me doing some of the correcting, in fact I've given up on that part of the program. I think the cost at the time I purchased it, and I got it on some sort of special over the internet, was $70.00. I'm sure there are others because I've received notices but I got this one and have learned to use it to scan and edit some documents. Check out their home page.
