A few months ago I purchased an HP D145 photo-printer/scanner/fax/copier and have been very pleased. (It uses very little ink in the copy mode.) It came preloaded with Iris v6, which I upgraded to v8. Iris gives good results. Just be sure that your computer can support Iris. My computer is 5 years old and Iris runs slow, but I'm content.
