Sharon,

The pdf generator in Legacy comes with the print preview engine and is
unfortunately creates an earlier version of the file that more current
versions of Acrobat can't handle. The programmers have been looking around
for one more up-to-date and reasonably priced to keep the cost of Legacy
down.

I don't know why Acrobat has trouble opening and editing the file. I've
never had trouble opening one in Acrobat Reader, at least v5 and 6.

If you open the file in Acrobat Reader and do a File > Save A Copy, you can
always create new copies of the file - I just did it and the copy looks as
good as the original.

Unfortunately, if you need to do edits, you'll need to regenerate the file.

Thanks for using Legacy.

What do you think? I need to make more copies of this same file, with some
updates, and do NOT want to have to print the whole file again just to get
the copies for 3 more people made.
