This is where confusing the computer comes in handy.
I am guessing your intent, in seeing multi photos on same event. If these are 
'all four sides' pictures,  you can
create a SCRAPBOOK PAGE with 4-6 photos, then make the page a PDF, and save 
that PDF as a photo in the 
gallery, and make it the prefered photo.  I haven't done much with this yet, 
but at least you can get a better 
feel for what you can and cannot do.
If you want the photos interspersed in the verbiage, then you WILL need to go 
to a good WP Program (Word, etc.).
Hope what we have said gives you the idea as to how YOU will proceed.

Yes, you have to order them manually - but you don't have to delete and 
reattach. You can drag and drop in the picture gallery.
For locations over time however you'd do better to add more than one 
residence event, as Wm says, if you want more pictures showing in reports.
