I use my flash drive all the time at my local Family History Center. I backup my legacy file to the flash drive and then restore it to the computer at the Family History Center (which has Legacy standard on it). However, if the host computer doesn't have Legacy on it, I don't think it will work. The major drawback is that I can't access Legacy Deluxe when I'm at the FHL, but that's a minor point. One nice thing abt the flash drive is that I can download images from the internet (Ancestry) to my flash drive and don't have to pay for paper copies. Most public libraries won't let you use a flash drive, and most libraries don't have Legacy installed on their computers. That's why I'm also planning on getting a PDA to use at public libraries.
