Hi Mary, You could use a freeware program to make thumbnail images out of your current images and reduce your 400 MB of images down probably enough to fit both your database and your images onto a flash drive. I use Adobe Image, but I know that Paint Shop Pro is a much less expensive program and there are others out there that will do the same for either much less or free.
Also, you might want to watch www.outpost.com for an inexpensive 1GB drive. They had a Lear 1GB drive a few months ago for around $40.00 after rebates and a Lexar 1GB Secure for around $50.00 about 2 weeks ago. The price is definitely coming down. When I bought my 1GB it cost $300.00, but I definitely needed it. I currently carry 3 drives in my pocket at all times. I am thinking of upgrading to 2 4GB drives. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, January 17, 2005 7:01 AM Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Using Legacy with USB drive > Glen > > <<<Why duplicate your efforts.
