This is something I was looking at too! Generating a web option makes a 7 Mb lump of files. An older programme makes about 2.5 Mb - but Legacy looks os much better. A dynamic web page would be great.

Is there any way the database residing within Legacy 5 can be accessed in order to create a dynamic web page? I've been looking at GED to HTML programs, such as PhpGedView and DftCom2, but I don't like the way the output is formatted.

My complaint with using the Legacy Family Tree web output is the difficulty encountered when an update is required. It generates a big bunch of html files, and they all have to be regenerated and uploaded. The uploading is a pain because there are so many files.

Anyone have any ideas around this? Thanks.
