GenViewer Legacy is indeed an add-on program which we sell. You can find
out more about it at http:/www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Add-Ons.asp.

It's my second most-favorite genealogy program (three guesses as to which my
first most favorite is - and the first two guesses don't count <rbg>)

Thanks for using Legacy.

Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Legacy to FTM

If you can find GENviewer (supported by Legacy and sold by them I think
- GV is owned by a guy in Novaa Scotia who is very friendly and responsive -
GV provides an option to produce a Gedcom file that is self programmed to
run on recipients machine even if they don't have a genealogical program -
and will display the genealogical file you want them to see, as if they
did/do have a gen prog. Far easier to do than what you suggest and does NOT
require the recipient to be a computer guru. Try it.
You'll like it. I wouldn't do without it. It also lets you look at your own
file much more easily than using your gen prog (even Legacy).
