Ok, let's try another angle. I *assume* we are talking about Descendant
Book. Under the Options tab, there are three "biggish" buttons about 2/3rds
the way down. Under Index Options, at the Name Index tab, there is a check
box with the caption "Birth & Death Years on Names." Do you have that
checked?

Hmm, did any of the names that did not print dates actually have dates? I
couldn't reproduce that. Not *all* of my names have dates.

I am using a rather old version of Legacy 5 Deluxe - Build date 26 Oct 2004.

I just previewed a Descendant Book report where I had ticked the box in
Index Options "Birth and Death Years on Names". Only some names in the
report index had these dates included. Has this been fixed on later builds?
