Why don't you send her a backup (.zip) file of your family database,
and show her how to do a "File>Restore Family File" to her computer? 
That should be easier than setting up directories etc for the .fdb
file.  Refer to the "Tips" on Legacy's web page for more help in
backing up and restoring family data.
