There is also the option to include correspondence under To-Do's, if
you use this as a research log. This is good to record the trail of
correspondence, much of which may be fruitless. When I have a result
that leads to a new "fact" in the database, I add the correspondence
as a source. I record each letter as a Master Source and then copy the
relevant details only into the Text for the Source Detail. I use a
standard naming convention for the master Sources like: DOE, Fred -
Letter to SMITH, John, 12-Mar-2003, so all letters from the same
person are listed together.
