Would it not be a good idea to include a designation "Partner" as this will make it easier for recording?

Hi Syd,
Any relationship that produces children is considered a "marriage" by Legacy - even when the partner isn't entered you'll see the spouse icon light up if you've added a child.


In the marriage information screen there is a Status box where you can describe the relationship and further down you can add the wording you'd like to use in reports for this relationship. Unfortunately the only status currently that picks up the wording you decide on is *Unmarried*
