Actually my computer wizard did do an"XP" reinstall and LEGACY still did the
blank thing [sigh] but on the second reinstall not only did LEGACY go blank
but typing was all in capitals and sometimes the numbers all came out in
uppercase

so all I did was to do a computer restart [watta pain] so for now I am happy
to just to work with my LEGACY and all her charms So, I just close
everything down every night till wizard gets it [WINDOWS XP] installed
perfectly. But I do want to thank everybody who wrote on list and privately
