Jim, I agree, a Linux version would be WONDERFUL. I've been using Linux since before there were distributions, and it is another world in terms of stability. The only things holding me back from a total conversion are mapping, financial/tax software, and genealogy software. There's a mapping solution now, the financial software is getting pretty good, taxes may not be an issue with the on-line options. Now, if Legacy were available on Linux...*g* Switch the email over, and I'm done from Windows.

Roger, Won't it be wonderful if Legacy was ported to Linux? Is Millennia Corp interested? Is anything in the works? Has it been tried? I've been told that it doesn't work in Linux/Wine and works unsatisfactorily in Linux with Crossover Office. I agree that it is necessary to shut down any MS OS once every 24 hours to avoid corruption of programs and files. I also agree that Linux does not have this problem, at least to the degree that MS does. I've heard that Linuxs machines running for a year w/o cracking. I notice you use Microsoft Outlook Express 6. Are you using Linux or MS? I use Thunderbird and MS currently. One of their extensions shows me what email client you use. Jim Roger W.
