I couldn't see how the wording choices in the "marriage" screen would help
either. The point I was making is that I don't believe you can change the
wording for a Descendant Narrative book report. But that you can for the
Descendant book report. The wording changes for reports is available when
you select the report you want, not for the individual people. I still get
the same quirky wording if I do a Descendant Narrative report as it doesn't
seem to be modifiable. But I can change it to "The child was" in the
Descendant report.

The question is why can you change the wording for one type of book report
and not the other.

I am sorry I must really be missing something here. Neither option seems
to work for me.
1. Display the mother in the Wife box.  yes
2. Click marriage information yes
3. About the bottom third or so of the window, is a box labeled Wording
Options. Yes in blue text.  -- Other word substitutes  there are then
boxes  spouse  ..marriage. When I change those the report still reads
Mary had a child. They had 1 daughter.
