Legacy recommends following the procedure of listing the city, county,

Most of my genealogy locations are in Canada and in my former program I
entered the following: city, township, county, province, country.
Obviously, this order will throw things out of kilter with Legacy's program.
What is recommended - totally eliminate the township in the location?
Millennia/Legacy is too hung up on the 4-part locations which really
only apply to the USA and even then there are many exceptions! With
more international users Legacy will have to change this overly-rigid
concept.
My locations are exactly as *I* want them -- be it in 3, 4, 5 or even
more parts. I keep the Master Location sort direction set at "Right
to Left" and so far everything has worked just fine. Obviously I'm
smart enough to have the country in the last position, which is
something many Americans don't bother to do with their "USA" -- then
they get all upset when CA gets interpreted as Canada!!

LUGers,
What are the consequences of using other than 4-part
locations format? Is it just a recommendation?
I have been using 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5-part and
I have not been hit by lightening.
I always use country, if I know it.
