The "Or" gives me the same 78 individuals that have only an Alt Given Name.

The "And" gives me nothing, no list. I know for a fact that I have at least 80,000 individuals without either Alt Given Name or Alt Surname.

Something isn't working right ...

In which case, you need to include a search "OR" for the Alt Given Names.

Look for whom? Individual
Where to look Alt Surname
How to look Equal to
What to look for (leave blank - no spaces or anything)

OR

Look for whom? Individual
Where to look Alt Given Name
How to look Equal to

If you use "AND" instead of "OR", you'll get a list of individuals that have
neither name.

"OR" gives you a list of individuals that don't have an alt given name but
may have an alt surname along with individuals that don't have an alt
surname but may have an alt given name.

Thanks for using Legacy.

When I search for Alt Surname Equal to nothing (no spaces, nothing), I get a
list of 78 individuals that have Alt Given Names but no Alt Surnames. It
does not report the 80,000+ that have neither Alt Given Names or Surnames.

It doesn't work ...
