Gee, I never would have thought of that!! I thought that I had mentioned that the folder I was concerned about was the "Legacy/Backup folder on my C: drive" and its contents. It has, as I think I had mentioned, some very large files whose dates go all the way back to Legacy 2, 3, and 4. To cite some of the names, there are Legacy.001, Legacy.002 and Legacy.exe (each over 9MB), LEGACY.HLP abt. 1.4MB) and Sample.fdb (abt. 1MB).
Now, I DO understand how stuff gets into the Legacy/Backup folder but I suppose my question (which it appears was phrased quite unintellegibly) is how does it ever get out. I only have a 20GB hard drive. I'm not blessed with the 200-300 variety that allows me to let unused and unwanted data collect indefinitely.
