Hi Roxanne, Uninstalling Legacy doesn't delete your data. Hopefully you have backups of your data. If not, you should backup your data before you upgrade. That's just basic insurance. If you don't know how to backup - see http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/tips.asp
In Legacy 6 there is a link to this page on the Legacy Home Tab which also acts as a browser so you can go straight there :-)
If you previously installed into the default folder for Legacy, uninstall Legacy 5 and then install Legacy 6 into the default folder for Legacy - all your data will still be there.
If you don't know what I mean by default folder, then you almost certainly used it :-)
