Additionally, some browsers are not keen on spaces in file names, resulting in missing images on webpages. --P

I was able to get the site loaded and everything looks good from a browser but managing the files on the server and using ftp is a real pain when spaces are involved. I suggest anyone starting out to not use spaces in file names. I have hundreds of file names I'm going to have to change if I want to be able to elude insanity in the near future.
