Mason You have no way of controlling RIN numbers...your can choose to re use RIN number that have been deleted...or you can export to anew database, choosing to renumber....BUT you cannot choose what number to use for somebody...However if you use "the renumber RINS feature under tools there are a few ways to may get some of the results your desire...
The importance of RIN numbers have very little to do with genealogy...they are actually only a means for the database to track individuals. Regards Henry p.s.
