This apparently didn't make it to the list because my e-mail setting was to HTML instead of plain text. I didn't change it; MSN changes it on its own. Now I'm mad at Microsoft and Legacy today. Next?

I just discovered that I have 246 people under the location "Vivian, McDowell, West Virginia, USA." First, I don't use that format; I would use "Vivian, McDowell Co., WV." Second, I don't know if there ARE 246 people in Vivian, WV. What apparently has happened is that I recently looked for Vivian, then used Select to add that to one record. I would normally go back and change the entry to my usual format. (I have two people from Vivian with my format.) That means Legacy has decided, on its own, to add this location to 246 or more entries. (I fixed a couple before realizing that "Houston, we have a problem.") I don't appreciate the extra work it will take to fix all these. On the couple I have found, Legacy had replaced the original entry with this false one. So now I have to go back and find where everybody was really born or died or whatever! If I'm lucky, it may be just where I had only "WV". That's the last time I'll let Legacy put in my locations. I'll find them and type them myself! Gaak! Bill Hurst, unhappy camper.
