Thanks for the abbreviation info. The only problem is, if the person you
give your tree to or get one from doesn't look at this list, well things go
wrong.
Personally, I spell out everything except USA. But I don't have any USA
trees anyway.

Can I suggest in future if you have a query on an abbreviated location,
select
"Help>Type in 'Abbreviations'>then select "Common Abbreviations'"
then look for the abbreviation you require.
The abbreviations adhere to a world standard which is known as the Chapman
Code and is used in genealogy research. Apart from that, each country falls
into line with a standard for postal reasons. For example in Australia - QLD
represents Queensland, in U.S.A. - KS is Kansas, in England SSX is Sussex.
