I have a somewhat similar situation. I record the child in the usual manner and list the rest of the siblings, showing all the proper birth dates and marriage date of the parents as well. For the first child, simply check the box to remove from the problems report. Do not need to get into the specifics and this seems to be fine with those who should care.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Legacy6 deLuxe- child out of wedlock how to put it in Legacy

Found a funny thing today, a couple in the 1780's had a child out of wedlock eight years before they actually got married and had the other children. How am I going to put this into Legacy? When I put the data of the child in the existing marriage Legacy will give a warning and rightly so; it is incorrect. Make a duplicate parent link and add unmarried will probably work confusing.
I am also wondering how to send this to TR.
How are you on this list tackle a problem like this?

Looking forward to some answers,
TIA, Keren
