Myrna, I do have a 56kps hi speed dial-up modem, but as you point out it doesn't make any difference as to the modem - it all has to do with the PHONE LINE service you have.
Unless I'm the only one left in cyberspace boonies with a slow dial-up connection I still put forth my original point that Legacy updates need to have a better delivery option for those who don't have access to hi speed connections -- either by reason of it just not being available OR financially prohibitive. gc -- Myrna Jorgensen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: I forgot to mention that you might want to buy a better modem.
