Jon,
I have the same verison of Legacy v6.0.0.83 just duplicate what you did, but had
no problems. I then tried the same thing steps with outlook open and IE open
along with Legacy and still had not problem with freezing up of Legacy.

I have Legacy v6.0.0.83 and WIN XP. If I open Legacy, with no other
programs running, and click on the name list, Legacy freezes and I have to use
start>restart to correct the problem. This has happened several times today.
Running the maintenance routines does not seem to solve the problem.
Suggestions?
