Jon, I posted something along the same line a few days ago, and in the meanwhile, reinstalled legacy5 in parallel. The last version of 5 reads 6.0 files so no worries. For routine data entry and editing, 5 is fine. Various Legacy employees have hinted that 6.0 has resource management issues and that they are working on it. In the meantime, 5 works fine. Jonathan
"I have Legacy v6.0.0.83 and WIN XP. If I open Legacy, with no other programs running, and click on the name list, Legacy freezes and I have to use start>restart to correct the problem. This has happened several times today. Running the maintenance routines does not seem to solve the problem." Suggestions?
