My sentiments too.

I began using Legacy in 2002.

Up till then I'd been using several programs for different features, but
after using Legacy for a while I stopped updating the data in most of the
others, because I found Legacy met more of my needs than the others.

I was slow to upgrade from v4 to v5 because my hardware could not keep pace
with the growing memory requirements. When I got a new la[ptop that could
cope, I registered for the deluxe version of 5.0.

Now 6.0 has come along, and I'm stil, not sure what new features it has that
would make it worth paying for the upgrade. It certainly doesn't seem to have
the features that I would like to see.

The most important of these is for the Events to be entered only once, and
being able to link different people to them, instead of having to re-enter
events in every person's record -- for example a census.

I like the idea of programs being able to work with other programs -- Legacy
being able to export data in a form that can be used by Clooz, for example.

But I'm concerned about program bloat - adding bells and whistles, while not
improving the "core business". I regard the Events feature as core business,
but the Family Tree and Research Assistant things as bells and whistles.
