Hi Roxanne,

I did this recently.
You may want to make a copy of your database to do this so that you don't mess up your options for other reports where you are happy to share more.

In Options > Customise - Sources Tab
Check or uncheck the options you want and click the Reset button.
This overrides all printing checkmarks on individual source citations unless you make them again - which is why I suggest you may wish to use a copy of your database (the .fdb file).

When exporting the Gedcom, make sure you don't check the Override Source Options - include all source information.

Cheers,
Cathy

I hope I can manage to get my point across. I have a
GEDCOM posted online, and want to list my sources for
my information. But I don't necessarily want the
entire text of the source quoted on the individual's
entry. How do I get Legacy to name the source without
including the whole source? Mainly, I want to be able
to point others in the right direction as to where I
got my information so they can check it themselves if
they desire. I don't want to just hand out copies of
other people's text.
