It seems there is some sort of bug here.
I did a Basic Gedcom plus Source and didn't (and don't) get the
Master Source text after having reset the printing options as
previously described.
However, using the default settings, I did get the Master Source text
and comments.
A work around until the bug is fixed so that you don't have to remove
the bits you want to keep private is to surround them with the
privacy brackets [[ ]]
