Well, now I'm confused. I have FTM 10. Elizabeth I know has FTM 2006,
and is much more up-to-date about FTM than I am. However, when I
transfered my data from Legacy 5 to FTM 10 it went very smothly with
the basic BMD events. Also the other events, and I use many, went over
ok to. There is an issue with Occupations But locations, at least for the
BMD and most events went over just fine.
What FTM does have a hard time is all the sourcing stuff that Legacy has
that FTM doesn't. But I can make box charts just fine with FTM immediately
after import from Legacy, with no cleanup, because FTM complains every
time I've used a Legacy sourcing feature that it doesn't support, such as
Surety Level, Date of source entry, and the verified flag. But the sources
themselves and that part of the citation which FTM knows what to do with
go over fine, at least in my experience.
What am I missing Elizabeth?
