Oh, sorry -- I didn't mean to imply that the function was useful, just that that is where your annotation can be found. It is actually quite pointless, there is no specificity below the gross page level and there is no way to search for your additions, so you have to remember what page you added them to. Building your own help file in TreePad is a much better idea -- and you can easily share it, to boot.
