Legacy can't run from the flash drives. I have my DATABASE (*.FDB and all associated files) on the flash drive.
I backup to my desktop computer's hard drive. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Nicholas Cirillo Sent: Friday, April 14, 2006 12:26 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] confusing myself w/ 2 machines Glen, I understood that Legacy made a data file on the run so to speak as data are entered. The "Backup" feature creates a compressed file for outside storage. Do I understand you that you have the entire Legacy program on the USB drive or backup to the drive and restore on the other computer? Hope I make some sense.
