Once again I am requesting a fix for some report problems. I sent a message regarding these issues direct to Dave and Jim some months ago – this time I’m sending to the list and to Support directly. I still think Legacy is the best thing since sliced bread, but it is a bit disconcerting when I repeatedly request the same fixes and they never rate a mention. There, I’ve had my grumble. Now, to the report issues.
Descendant Narrative Report – rtf version: – Report options set to include picture of spouse as well as descendant – spouse pictures are not included. – Font for Picture captions set as Arial size 6, italic – some are bold, and all much larger than 6, and not all italic – Blank page appears after Title page – viewing in Normal view shows there are two Section break (next page) lines – Report options set to NOT indent generations – in rtf version ALL text is indented about 1cm from left margin. Descendant Narrative Report – screen / printer version: - Blank page appears after Title page. Descendant Narrative Report – all versions - when ‘Use quoted names in narratives’ and ‘Remove quoted names’ are selected there are still places where the Quoted given names are NOT removed in all instances where they appear e.g. list of children from a marriage always shows - They had the x children: Janet Kay "Jan", William Robert "Bill" etc etc., also when [couplenames] is used as a field on a Title page - Quoted given names are not used in all instances where they could be - e.g. in event sentences. They seem to work for BDM events, but not any others event sentence definitions. In Descendant Register reports we have some wonderful wording options regarding the children sentences (Wording 1). PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE could we have exactly the same options in the Descendant Narrative Report? Cheers, Jan -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
