Jan,
Legacy 5 & 6 Deluxe had some undocumented changes or options that I'd
missed. Uncheck the "children of each spouse" for Narrative report options
if you don't want an automatic count of children. A Legacy narrative for the
direct line from a partial (direct ancestors only) file states that every
couple had one child with default settings.

My main problem with using *any* Legacy 6 report is the limitation of
picture sizes. I need small face pictures combined with "right-size" group
and source pictures in a single PDF file. Many individuals in the branch
that was intended for a Legacy 3 book (March 2000) have a variety of source
images from one line high to one full page.

There are too many pictures to edit the size of each one in a word processor
file besides the problem of missing spouse pictures. Children often change
order as birth registrations are found to be more reliable than census ages
for adults. Unedited reports saved as PDF need to be accurate and separate
"book" files need to be avoided.

Legacy reports do not include birth, baptism, marriage, death or burial
pictures. The problem with white space on the left and black outline through
the right side of the pictures seems to be fixed in the last update of
Legacy 6. Border line box is checked by default and re-checked every time a
Legacy 6.0.0.83 file is closed. Legacy "charts" did not have the border line
by default like reports, now it is optional. -- Elizabeth

In Descendant Register reports we have some wonderful wording options
regarding the children sentences (Wording 1). PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE could
we have exactly the same options in the Descendant Narrative Report?
