Dee,
View>Master Lists>Surname,
either combine the names or put what
you want in there then combine it to the
one you want.
All Best!!!

Subject: [LegacyUG] autocomplete names capitalized
I cannot find this in the archives, so here goes:
Before I knew better, I capitalized all my surnames. Now, no matter what
I
do, Legacy autocompletes them in capitals. (In the Options-Customize-Data
Format-Displaying Surnames the box for Show SURNAMES in uppercase letters
is
NOT checked.) The only way I can find to undo this is to go to each
surname
individually, add the name in lower case after the uppercase version, then
backspace to remove the uppercase version. This is extremely tedious, and
doesn't solve the problem of future entries. Even now, every time I try
to
add a new person with a surname I had previously entered in caps, it shows
up in caps.
Is there a way to remove these old, erroneous autocompletes?
Is there a way to change all my surnames at once to Upper/Lower case?
Remember, this is NOT a matter of unchecking the box.
Many thanks in advance,
Dee Whiting
